About us
Our main premsises are located at 141 Acton Lane, London, NW10 7PB. This facility contains our packing area, transit area and over 30,000 square foot of storage.
Services
Packing – is carried out by our in house experts, who each have over 25 years experience in the handling and packing of Fine Art.
Air freight – Ward Thomas offer a complete air freight package from consolidated services to complete supervision shipments. We have a worldwide network of Fine art agents enabling us to offer comprehensive services to all our clients.
Road freight – we have a fleet of over 30 vehicles from Luton vans to articulated lorries. We run regular services to Switzerland. France, Italy and Spain and have trucks in and around London every day. We are also represented throughout all other European countries, so we are able to assist our clients in the movement of fine art whatever the location.
Sea freight – we offer whole container loads or consolidated services on a worldwide basis.
Storage – our storage facilities are fully staffed and have 24 hour security protection, connected to a central station alarm system, which in turn is connected directly to the police. We also offer viewing areas and photography rooms.
Art Fairs – we have successfully forged a strong reputation in Art Fair transportation. Over the last year we have particpated in Basel, Miami, Toronto, Brussels, Arco, Fiac, Turin, Chicago, Armory and Hong Kong,
